Unless otherwise requested, SGH will return your merchandise to you using a shipping method of its choice. If you wish the reduce the risk of harm during transit, please make arrangements to pick up or drop off your merchandise at SGHs facility.
Stage 1 - Order Process:
Please add for each game one of our grading offers to your shopping cart. Just use the cart symbol for each item and follow PayPal instructions. After your payment you will be redirected to a secure SGH payment form to fill in your order information. Finally you will get an E-mail which includes our shipping address and your order information. If you have a problem with one of these steps please contact us via E-Mail.
Stage 2 - Receiving:
First of all we verify the number of games in your package and compare those games to the invoice discription. Our SGH grading team consists of professional and experienced specialists so your games are in qualified, trustworthy hands. Every game gets a seperate SGH grading code and this information is entered into our computer database. Before any grading is performed, each game is examined by SGH experts to make sure that it has a original and authentic seal wrapping. If we have suspicions or evidence that imply a reseal, we will cease the whole grading process for this game, or grade it as such (Meaning that if we discover a reseal then you can choose to either stop grading, or award the game a "Reseal grading" by default. Obviously it's then up to the owner whether or not you wish the game to stay inside the secure case.).

Stage 3 - Grading:
Every game is carefully handled during the whole grading process and only handled by our graders using special gloves. We begin the grading process by examining the game in different lighting, and from different angles, and then proceed to take photographic evidence of its condition prior to grading. Next, we enter a detailed description into our database, and include any major or minor flaws such as: Rips; Tears; Holes; Or any other significant damage, which ensures an accurate description and grading. (e.g. "...a one inch tear along bottom..."). We also take into consideration such things as hang-tabs, loose seal wrappings, and price stickers / residue etc.. After a final check we analyze data and assign our grading opinion. In the final step we send all photos and information via E-Mail to sealed game experts around the world. If all grades are in agreement or are very close, we will then assign the game's final grade.
Stage 4 - Online database:
All game informations are entered into our own SGH grading database. Every person can find your game in our SGH database by typing the SGH unique grading code or the game name into the search engine.

Stage 5 - Protection and unique identification label:
After each game has been graded, all games get a special protective case (individual sizes). All outer protective cases are made from high quality PC that is resistant, durable and clear. Furthermore all games get a SGH-label with a SGH grading code. It serves to make each certified game unique and is also an important deterrent to counterfeiting SGH's valued product. When the game is well packed into the case we seal the protection box with a special security sticker. It is impossible to remove this sticker without destroying the seal. The game is then completely sealed from human contact. Therefore, your game is kept in the same sealed condition as it was when it was graded.
Furthermore every case includes a mechanical or magnetic seal that you can only open with a special ejecter. We will then give you the option to have the mechanical or magnetic seal activated (every game is graded without activating the machanical or magnetic seal - We only seal the protection case with our security sticker, unless otherwise instructed). Once the mechanical or magnetic seal is actvated, the casing can only be opened again using our special ejector. If, for any reason, you require the casing opened in the future, you are more than welcome to return your game for the magnetic or mechanical seal to be released.

Stage 6 - Final Check and special additions:
Finally, we attractively present each game in their protective cases with great care and attention taken to ensure the game is safe and sound.

Each case comes supplied with a removable hanging tab, which can be used to make great room decoration!

Stage 7 - Shipping / returns:
Once graded, the game/s are placed vertically inside sturdy durable cardboard boxes, and packaged using bubble-wrap where necessary to eliminate damage during transit. If a game is not graded (In the case of a reseal), the same care and attention will be applied to ensure your game is returned to you in the same condition as you sent it.
